Baja California
I spend part of my summer tagging and photographing the world's largest shark, the whale shark, which can reach a length of 15m (50ft); these gentle giants subsist on some of the tiniest organisms in the ocean, plankton; the Sea of Cortez (or Baja California) holds a wealth of diverse sea life including the giant squid which can reach a length of 15.2m (50ft), the great white sharks which can grow to a length of 6m (20ft), and pacific sea lions and seals.
